Six-Vehicle Crash on Highway 152 (Pacheco Pass Highway) in Hollister

Hollister, Calif. (June 24, 2025) — Two people suffered minor injuries in a six-vehicle crash in Hollister early Tuesday morning on westbound Highway 152 just east of the Pacheco Creek Reserve, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on State Route 152 around 5:00 a.m. on June 24th, prompting a response from CHP, Cal Fire, and local towing services. Initial reports indicated five vehicles were involved, but updated information confirmed six vehicles were part of the chain-reaction crash.
Two Injured in Hollister Car Accident on SR-152
Emergency responders reported two individuals sustained minor injuries. Both lanes of traffic were temporarily impacted, but officials worked quickly to move all vehicles to the right-hand shoulder, allowing both lanes to reopen by approximately 5:45 a.m.
Meanwhile, no major injuries were reported, and the scene was cleared without the need for extended closures. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Finally, motorists were advised to drive cautiously through the area during the cleanup.
