TWENTYNINE PALMS, California (October 9, 2014) – A 23-year-old man riding a skateboard was injured Wednesday afternoon when he was hit by a driver as he attempted to cross Bagley Avenue at Desert Trail, according to a report by Z1077fm.com.
About 12:15 p.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff deputies responded to the collision between the skateboarder and a gray Chevrolet pickup truck who was heading northbound on Bagley Avenue. The skateboarder was struck down and paramedics responded. He was transported by ambulance to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs and treated for a leg injury.
