1 Injured in Sloughhouse Crash at Ione Road and Jackson Road
SLOUGHHOUSE, CA (November 29, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Ione Road and Jackson Road in Sloughhouse.
The Metro Fire of Sacramento first logged the accident last week on Friday morning. Officers reported the wreck on November 25 shortly after 11 a.m.
The incident happened when for an unknown reason, two vehicles collided in Sloughhouse. The cars crashed at the intersection of Ione Road and Jackson Road, known as Highway 16.
2 Cars Collide
One car went off the roadway as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon freed one trapped occupant from the wreckage.
An air ambulance flew the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, officers forced the area of Ione Road and Jackson Road to shut down following the wreck. The cause of the Sloughhouse crash is still under investigation.
