2 Critically Injured in Sloughhouse Crash on Jackson Highway Near Indio
SLOUGHHOUSE, CA (January 14, 2023) – Two were critically injured after a car crash on Jackson Highway near Indio Drive in Sloughhouse.
According to the KCRA News and ABC 10 News, the accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck on January 14 at around 2:30 p.m.
Sacramento Metro Fire said two cars collided for an unknown reason in Sloughhouse. The vehicles crashed on Jackson Highway near Indio Drive.
2 Cars Collide
The two drivers ended up trapped inside their cars as a result of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and soon freed them from the wreckage.
Both patients sustained critical injuries following the incident. Medical personnel then rushed the two motorists to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties. Meanwhile, officers forced a stretch of Jackson Highway to shut down near Indio after the wreck.
The cause of the Sloughhouse crash is still under investigation.
