Sofia Quinones Suspect in Injury Car Accident at Sousa Lane and Soscol Avenue Monday
Napa, CA (July 7, 2021) – Police arrested 22-year-old Sofia Elena Quinones in relation with a DUI collision that occurred in the area of Sousa Lane and Soscol Avenue, the Napa Valley Register News reported.
On July 5, Sofia Quinones was driving a vehicle traveling in the streets of Napa. Our sources indicated the female motorist attempted to make a turn from Sousa Lane into Soscol Avenue. In the process, Sofia Quinones collided into another car heading north on Soscol.
Officials said the crash took place shortly before 9 p.m
Detectives gathered information indicating Sofia Quinones was intoxicated at the time of the incident. For this reason, police arrested the woman and booked her into the Napa County jail on suspicion of causing injury by driving under the influence.
Passenger Hospitalized After DUI Car Crash in Napa, July 5
Meanwhile, the article published online mentioned a passenger in the vehicle driven by the 22-year-old Napa woman sustained injuries. An ambulance transported the injured passenger to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center for treatment.
