
SOLANO COUNTY, Calif. (Feb. 14, 2023) — A crash involving three vehicles happened Tuesday on the Interstate 80 Freeway at Red Top Road in the Fairfield area of Solano County.
The multi-vehicle crash occurred in the westbound lanes of the I-80 about 8:25 a.m. on Feb. 14th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The drivers of a small Kia Niro SUV, a Toyota Selica sedan and a third vehicle were involved in the collision. The Kia had major front-end damage and the Toyota had both major front and rear damage. The vehicles collided in the slow lanes of the freeway.
Paramedics responded to help those injured in the crash on the Interstate 80.
It’s unknown how many were hurt at this time.
Meanwhile, tow trucks removed the two damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Finally, investigators are working on the case to determine fault for the Interstate 80 Freeway crash near Fairfield.
