
Skateboard Rider Injured in Crash at Soledad Street and North Street
SOLEDAD, CA (May 8, 2023) – A teenage boy on a skateboard was hospitalized after a crash at Soledad Street and North Street.
According to an article published by the KION News, the accident took place on Monday in Soledad. Officers reported the collision in the morning of May 8.
The incident happened when a 14-year-old boy was riding a skateboard on eastbound Soledad Street, approaching North Street in the city.

Police said for an unknown reason, a GMC then struck the teen in the intersection. Paramedics arrived at the scene and found the skateboarder who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon rushed the boy to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The report did not disclose the condition of the victim at this time.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the car pulled over and stayed at the site following the incident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Soledad and North streets to shut down for a time after the skateboard collision.
