Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Somerset Crash at Bucks Bar Road and Bucks Bar Circle
EL DORADO COUNTY, CA (June 22, 2021) – A crash seriously injured a motorcyclist at Bucks Bar Road and Bucks Bar Circle in Somerset.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the wreck on Tuesday evening. According to their dispatch team, officers reported the accident at about 7:45 p.m.
CHP said the motorcycle rider and another vehicle collided for an unknown reason in the Somerset community. The two crashed at the intersection of Bucks Bar Road and Bucks Bar Circle.
Collision Near Cosumnes River George
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Cosumnes River Gorge park. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP shut down the area of Bucks Bar Road and Bucks Bar Circle following the wreck. They did not mention if the other driver involved ended up hurt or if they stopped after the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Somerset crash.
