Somis Car Accident on Highway 118 and State Route 34

VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (June 17, 2025) — A multi-vehicle car accident happened Tuesday in Somis on Highway 118, just east of state Route 34 in Ventura County.

Three vehicles were involved in the collision at 1:32 p.m. on June 17th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported the drivers of a white Cadillac XT56, a gray Honda Odyssey, and a black Ford F-150 pickup truck were involved in the collision.

The vehicles were blocking eastbound SR-118 traffic lanes and the Ventura County Fire Department responded to help those injured. At least one person was treated for minor injuries, but it’s unknown if they were taken to a hospital.

Meanwhile, the car accident remains under investigation to determine fault.
