Motorist Flown to Hospital with Major Injuries
DATE OF COLLISION: Tuesday, July 17th
July 18, 2018- According to the Napa Valley Register, a major injury collision was reported on Highway 37 near Highway 121 yesterday involving a box truck and a blue sedan.
At roughly 2:15 p.m., the two vehicles collided for unknown reasons leaving the driver of the sedan badly hurt.
That individual who has not been identified by name sustained major injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital by a medical helicopter.
Meanwhile, there was no indication that the box truck driver incurred any injuries.
The cause of the crash and the events that took place remain unclear as the investigation is ongoing to determine liability.
