2 Injured in Sonoma Crash Near Leveroni Road and Arnold Drive
SONOMA, CA (March 31, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash near Leveroni Road and Arnold Drive in Sonoma.
According to an article published by The Press Democrat, the accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 5:35 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said two cars collided head-on for an unknown reason. They crashed near the intersection of Leveroni Road and Arnold Drive, southwest of Sonoma.
Head-On Collision in Sonoma Valley
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene in the Sonoma Valley. They found two people who ended up injured as a result of the collision.
An air ambulance took a 27-year-old man involved to a hospital with major injuries, including multiple arm fractures. A ground ambulance transported the other patient for treatment.
Officials did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of Leveroni and Arnold to close in both directions for more than an hour following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the wreck.
