2-Vehicle Crash on Valley Ford Road in Sonoma County
SONOMA COUNTY, Calif. (August 27, 2021) — A Sonoma County car accident happened Friday morning at Valley Ford Road (Highway 1) at Freestone Valley Ford Road.
The collision happened about 11:39 a.m. on August 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Additionally, the drivers of a gold Buick and a blue Ford Taurus collided due to unknown circumstances.
2 Injured in Sonoma County Car Accident
Also, two people from the Ford were injured in the crash and transported by ambulances to a hospital. One of them was taken to Memorial for complaints of pain to the left shin and right shoulder, police said. The CHP report did not mention the age or gender of the people hurt in the collision.
Meanwhile, the vehicles were blocking the northbound lanes of the roadway. Tow trucks removed both vehicles due to damage.
Authorities are questioning those involved in the collision and reviewing evidence to determine fault for the Sonoma County car accident.
