3 Injured in Sonoma Crash on Highway 116 Near Arnold Drive
SONOMA, CA (November 22, 2021) – A suspected DUI crash injured three people on Highway 116 near Arnold Drive in Sonoma.
According to an article published by The Napa County Register, the accident took place early Saturday. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:40 a.m.
The incident happened on November 20 when a 2012 Ford Fusion went off the road and slammed into a tree. The car crashed on westbound Highway 116 near Arnold Drive in the city of Sonoma.
DUI Factor in Collision
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and found three occupants of the sedan hurt.
The driver and her passengers, a 42-year-old Yountville man and a 31-year-old Santa Rosa man, sustained unknown injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took them to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa for treatment. The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP believed that the woman driving the Ford was under the influence of alcohol when the incident happened. The Sonoma crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the westbound side of Highway 116 to shut down near Arnold Drive following the wreck.
