1 Killed in Collision at Lakeville Highway and Stage Gulch Road Friday
Sonoma, CA (August 27, 2021) – A deadly accident involving a motorcycle rider occurred Friday morning in the area of Lakeville Highway and Stage Gulch Road.
The KRON4 News reported a man was riding a Harley Davidson motorbike heading west on Stage Gulch Road. When the motorcyclist approached the intersection at Lakeville Highway, the driver apparently failed to stop. As a result, the rider slammed into the side of a big rig tanker driving through Lakeville and Stage Gulch.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident in Sonoma County, August 27
Shortly after 11:05 a.m., emergency teams arrived at the crash site. Responding paramedics performed life-saving measures to the motorcyclist but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Additional details on the wreck have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the fatal motorcycle accident at Lakeville Highway and Stage Gulch Road.
