Major Injury Collision at Jamestown and Racetrack Road Monday
Sonora, CA (September 6, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a car accident that occurred in the area of Jamestown and Racetrack Road early Monday.
At about 12:06 a.m., the California Highway Patrol logged a traffic collision involving a Jeep. For an unknown reason, the Jeep crashed and overturned at the intersection of Jamestown and Racetrack in Sonora. It remained unclear whether another vehicle played a role in the crash.

Responding medical personnel rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, officials confirmed at least one person suffered major injuries as a result of the wreck. Additional details on the injured party have not been discussed thus far.
Several factors surrounding the collision remained unclear. Given that, investigators continue to work to determine exactly how and why the car accident in Sonora happened.
