Major Injury Collision on Highway 108 Wednesday
Sonora, CA (June 23, 2021) – At least one person suffered serious injuries following a car accident that occurred on State Route 108 in Sonora Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol group reported a vehicle struck a parked car along the Sonora highway at Peaceful Oak Road. Initial records indicated the collision caused one automobile to careen off the roadway. At the moment, the make and model of the cars involved in the wreck remained undisclosed.

Shortly after 6:30 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the crash site. Paramedics reportedly rendered aid to all possible victims. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed one person sustained major injuries as a result of the incident.
Several factors surrounding the car accident in Sonora remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate exactly how and why the crash happened.
