1 Injured in Sonora Crash at Stewart and William Streets
SONORA, CA (July 22, 2022) – One was hospitalized after a car crash at Stewart and William streets in Sonora.
According to an article published by My Mother Lode, the accident took place on Wednesday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 1 p.m.
The incident happened on July 20 when three vehicles collided for an unknown reason in downtown Sonora. They crashed at the intersection of Stewart and William streets.
Multiple Cars Collide
Police described the cars as a Subaru SUV, a Nissan sedan, and a Dodge pickup truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision. Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
The report did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, police forced the southbound lane of Stewart Street to shut down near William following the wreck.
The cause of the Sonora crash is still under investigation.
