5 Injured in Sonora Crash on Highway 108 Near Stockton Road
SONORA, CA (October 14, 2020) – Several were injured after a car crash on Highway 108 near Stockton Road in Sonora.
According to an article published by My Mother Lode, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 3:50 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol said a van and a Chevy Suburban collided for an unknown reason in Sonora. The cars crashed on Highway 108 near the Stockton Road off-ramp.
2 Cars Collide
The Chevy obtained damage to its right side due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and found a total of five people hurt.
The patients sustained minor to moderate injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel then rushed all five victims to hospitals for treatment.
The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Sonora crash is still under investigation.
CHP forced the eastbound lane of Highway 108 to shut down for more than one hour near Stockton following the wreck.
