1 Seriously Injured in Sonora Crash Near Tuolumne and Morris Roads
SONORA, CA (March 12, 2022) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash near Tuolumne Road and Morris Road in Sonora.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 2:07 p.m.
The incident happened when two cars collided head-on for an unknown reason in Sonora. They crashed near the intersection of Tuolumne and Morris roads.
2 Cars Collide
The incident log described the vehicles as an SUV and a sedan. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Black Oak Road and found several occupants bleeding.
Medical personnel confirmed that one person ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. Air ambulance then took the patient to the Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Tuolumne and Morris roads to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Sonora crash is still under investigation.
