3 Injured in Sonora Crash at Washington Street and Stockton Street
SONORA, CA (October 7, 2022) – Several were injured after a DUI crash at Washington Street and Stockton Street in Sonora.
My Mother Lode published an article about the accident on Friday afternoon. The incident began when Sonora police responded to a possible DUI suspect on South Washington Street at Restano Way.
Officers soon found two vehicles which collided at the intersection of South Washington Street and West Stockton Street.
Drunk Driver Hits Another Car
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found a total of three people hurt. One driver, and two passengers in one car, complained of neck, back and arm pains as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed all three patients to the Adventists Health Sonora for treatment. The report did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police determined that the other motorist was under the influence of alcohol when the wreck took place. They then arrested the woman for felony DUI causing bodily injury.
Officers forced the area of Washington and Stockton streets to shut down following the incident. The Sonora crash is still under investigation.
