Rider Badly Hurt in Collision at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road
Sonora, CA (October 13, 2022) – A motorcyclist suffered major injuries following a traffic accident that occurred in the area of Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.
My Motherlode News published an article online reporting a collision between a motorcycle and a Honda sedan. Per local news source, the driver of the car stopped at the intersection and waited to make a right turn onto Mono Way. For reasons still unclear, a motorcyclist traveling behind the car failed to slow down and hit the sedan. Our sources mentioned the rider apparently swerved to avoid hitting the car; but ended up slamming into the right side of the sedan.
The force from the impact ejected the rider. Emergency crews arrived at the site shortly after 12:30 p.m., and found the motorcyclist suffering in major injuries. An ambulance rushed the victim to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the conditions of the occupants in the sedan.
Detectives handling the case continue to investigate the precise cause of the crash that happened at Mono Way and Tuolumne Road.
