2-Vehicle Crash on State Route 1
SOQUEL, Calif. (June 15, 2023) — A Soquel crash involving a big rig truck and an SUV happened Thursday morning on the northbound Cabrillo Highway 1, just north of 41st Avenue.
The two-vehicle collision occurred around 8:26 a.m. on June 15th on State Route 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported a semi-truck and a Toyota RAV 4 SUV were involved. It’s unknown what led up to the two-vehicle traffic accident.
Paramedics responded due to one person suffering injuries in the grey SUV. The report stated the injured person was conscious and breathing. It didn’t mention if the person was transported to a hospital or not.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash
The crash remains under investigation by the CHP
