SORRENTO VALLEY, SAN DIEGO (August 23,2016) – A man sustained injuries as a result of a crash at Mira Mesa Boulevard and Sorrento Valley Road, according to an article by San Diego Union-Tribune.
The accident happened Tuesday morning at roughly 2:00 a.m.
Per the San Diego Union-Tribune, the driver of a Hyundai, a 54-year-old man, was traveling southbound on Sorrento Valley Road before being broadsided by a 30-year-old woman in a minivan headed westbound on Mira Mesa Boulevard.
Furthermore, the authorities affirmed that one of the drivers ran a red light causing the collision.
A 54-year-old man suffered a broken pelvis and internal injuries. He was taken to the hospital was last updated to have been in serious condition.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old minivan driver was uninjured in the crash.
