Woman Killed in South El Monte Hit-and-Run Accident at Rosemead and Rush
SOUTH EL MONTE (August 5, 2018) – An alleged hit-and-run accident occurred in the area of Rosemead Boulevard and Rush Street on Sunday morning, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The collision took place on August 5 shortly after 5 a.m.
As per the article, California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said a female pedestrian was struck by a car near the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Rush Street.

The woman succumbed to her injuries as a result of the crash. Her name has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, officials affirmed that the driver did not stop to render aid and fled the scene after hitting the victim. The description of the vehicle involved and the motorist were not immediately available.
The incident remains under investigation.
