1 Injured in South El Monte Hit-and-Run Crash at Rosemead and Durfee
SOUTH EL MONTE, CA (November 23, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash injured one person at Rosemead Boulevard and Durfee Avenue in South El Monte.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the accident on Monday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:55 p.m.
The incident happened on November 22 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in South El Monte. They crashed at the intersection of Rosemead Boulevard and Durfee Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Bosque Del Rio Hondo. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel provided treatment to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the incident. The name of the wounded victim and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to render aid and then fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Rosemead and Durfee to shut down following the wreck.
The South El Monte hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
