SOUTH EL MONTE, California (March 29, 2016) — A motorcyclist was struck by a driver Tuesday morning in a crash on the westbound 60 Freeway at Santa Anita Boulevard, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 7:37 a.m. between the bike and a green Lexus sedan in the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes. Police say the motorcyclist was allegedly splitting lanes when the bike was hit by the Lexus. The rider went down on the ground in between the Nos. 2 and 3 lanes.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to help the injured, but there were no further details about those injured.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
