Injured Passenger Abandoned After Car Accident on Long Beach Freeway Friday
Los Angeles, CA (November 21, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries following a suspected hit-and-run crash that occurred on Interstate 710 in South Gate.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch, a blue Nissan Altima was traveling south on Long Beach (710) Freeway on November 19. When the car approached the area near Imperial Highway, the driver apparently lost control and careened off the roadway.
Primary reports indicated the crash took place at about 10:15 p.m.
When emergency crews arrived at the site, they found the passenger injured and trapped in the wreckage. Paramedics immediately rendered aid to the unconscious victim. The name of the passenger and their condition at this time remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, officials believed the driver evaded on foot after the collision. Additional details on the hit-and-run suspect have not been revealed thus far.
