Man, 50, Seriously Injured in South San Francisco Hit-and-Run on Village Way
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA (January 21, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash seriously injured a pedestrian along Village in South San Francisco.
According to an article published by the East Bay Times, the accident occurred on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the incident on January 20 at about 7:50 p.m.
Police said a vehicle struck the torso of a 50-year-old South San Francisco man lying in the roadway. The driver hit him in the 200 block of Village Way near Linden Avenue.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found the victim down on the ground as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the pedestrian to a trauma center with major injuries. His name and condition at this time were not disclosed.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the motorist did not stop to render aid to the man and fled the area. Authorities are still searching for the hit-and-run suspect.
