Pedestrian Injured in South San Jose Accident at Senter Road and Monterey Highway
SOUTH SAN JOSE, CA (February 23, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after an accident near Senter Road and Monterey Highway in South San Jose.
According to an article published by the East Bay Times, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening. Officers reported the crash at about 7:10 p.m.
Police said the vehicle struck the pedestrian for an unknown reason in South San Jose. The driver hit the person near the intersection of Senter Road and Monterey Highway.

Firefighters along with the paramedics then responded to the scene. They found the victim who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated the patient for the non-life-threatening injuries they sustained in the accident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped after hitting the pedestrian. Officers forced westbound Senter to close from Seven Trees Boulevard to Monterey following the crash.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the South San Jose collision.
