Pickup hits bicyclist on Leffingwell Road
SOUTH WHITTIER, Calif. (August 3, 2018) — A bicyclist was injured in a car accident Friday morning at Leffingwell and Stamy roads, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash too place about 7:20 a.m. when the bicycle rider was struck by a gray GMC pickup truck. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was called to the scene to help the injured bicyclist.
There is no further information in the CHP dispatch report. The crash is under investigation to determine liability.

At this time, we do not know who had the right-of-way in the roadway. There are certainly many unanswered questions about what led to the crash and who is liable.
