1 Seriously Injured in South Whittier Crash at Arroyo and Mulberry Drives
SOUTH WHITTIER, CA (November 3, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at Arroyo Drive and Mulberry Drive in South Whittier.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident took place on Wednesday evening. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck at about 7:55 p.m.
CHP determined that two vehicles collided in South Whittier. They crashed at the intersection of Arroyo Drive and Mulberry Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described one of the cars involved, as a 2007 blue Dodge Challenger. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near La Mirada Boulevard.
Medical personnel found one person who ended up suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision. They then rushed the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
The report did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Arroyo and Mulberry drives to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the South Whittier crash is still under investigation.
