SOUTH YUBA CITY, California (July 9, 2015) — Five people suffered minor to major injuries in a collision Thursday afternoon on South George Washington Boulevard and Reed Road, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash was reported at 12:06 p.m. to CHP officers. The called told police they cut their hand and there were two adults including one with major injuries and three children with minor to moderate injuries. The vehicles involved were described as a silver Chevrolet Equinox and a black Toyota Corolla. They were both towed from the scene of the crash.
Paramedics responded to help those hurt in the crash involving an unknown number of vehicles, but possibly a solo collision.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash and liability.
