3 Men Killed in Car Accident on Poindexter Avenue Friday
MOORPARK, Ca (April 16, 2020) – Multiple people died in a traffic collision on Poindexter Avenue on April 10, Friday, according to Ventura County Star.
Preliminary investigation revealed three males were riding in a vehicle traveling on Poindexter around midnight. When the vehicle approached the area near Chaparral Middle School, it veered off the roadway and crashed into a tree in the 200 block of Poindexter Avenue.
First responders found the vehicle engulfed by flames.
Deadly Car Accident in Moorpark, April 10
Per local news source, all three parties sadly died at the scene. According to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office, 20-year-old Spencer Bali, of Camarillo, died of multiple blunt force injuries; 18-year-old Bryan Amezcua, of Moorpark, died of blunt force thoracic injuries; and 17-year-old Cesar Troncoso, of Moorpark, died of blunt force head injuries.
Officials said speed contributed to the tragic incident. It remained unclear who was at the wheel at the time of the collision.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
