Man Killed in 2-Vehicle San Diego Crash ID’d
SAN DIEGO COUNTY, Calif. (March 29, 2023) — Spencer Ross, 53, of San Diego, died in a crash on Mission Center Road near Murray Ridge Road in the Sierra Mesa area of San Diego.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on March 23rd, according to the San Diego Medical Examiner report.
Spencer Ross allegedly lost control of his Chevrolet pickup while traveling northbound on Mission Center Road. The truck reportedly spun out of control and collided with a southbound Land Rover LR3 near Murray Ridge Road.
2-Vehicle Crash in San Diego
Firefighters and paramedics responded and pronounced the driver of the 53-year-old San Diego man dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the 31-year-old man driving the SUV complained of chest, back, neck and shoulder pain as a result of the collision. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital for treatment.
Liability for the fatal Serra Mesa crash is still under investigation. Witnesses may call the police at (619) 531-2000 or the Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
