As per a California Highway Patrol dispatch, a man was found unresponsive following a multi-car crash in the northbound lanes of the highway.
Officers claimed among the involved vehicles in the 6:27 p.m. accident were a red Toyota Corolla, and a gray Jeep Cherokee.
The CHP team logged this incident as a hit-and-run collision but no information was provided on the suspect or its vehicle.
Investigators continue to look into the cause of the crash.
