2-Vehicle Crash at Spring Valley Intersection

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (Nov. 30, 2023) — A two-vehicle car accident happened Thursday morning at Jamacha Boulevard and Ruxton Avenue in Spring Valley.

The traffic accident occurred at around 7:18 a.m. on Nov. 30th, just east of the Spring Valley Center, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The drivers of a gray Toyota Prius and a blue Toyota 4 Runner SUV were involved in the collision, but it’s unknown what led up to it. The airbags were deployed in both vehicles and the cars were blocking the intersection, police said.

Paramedics responded to the scene to help anyone injured and police requested tow trucks to remove the damaged vehicles.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the La Presa accident on Jamacha Boulevard.

The case remains under investigation.
