1 Injured in Spring Valley Crash on State Route 94 at Via Mercado
SPRING VALLEY, CA (July 1, 2021) – One was hospitalized after a car crash on State Route 94 in Spring Valley.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident early Wednesday. According to their dispatch, officers reported the wreck on June 30 at about 12:19 a.m.
CHP said a gray Honda CR-V and a red Dodge Charger collided for an unknown reason in Spring Valley. The two cars crashed on State Route 94 at Via Mercado.
2 Cars Collide in Spring Valley
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene. They found a passenger in one of the cars involved hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, the report mentioned that officers stopped a driver who left the area after the wreck. CHP forced State Route 94 at Via Mercado to shut down following the collision.
Authorities are still determining the cause of the Spring Valley crash.
