1 Injured in Spring Valley Hit-and-Run at Sweetwater and Troy
SPRING VALLEY, CA (December 31, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Sweetwater Road and Troy Street in Spring Valley.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place early Friday. Officers reported the wreck at about 1:05 a.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of Sweetwater Road and Troy Street in Spring Valley.
2 Vehicles Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Lemon Grove. They found one person who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided aid to the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in incident. The report did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that a driver involved did not stop to help and fled the area. Officers forced the corner of Sweetwater and Troy to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Spring Valley hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
