Ride-Sharing Vehicle Hits Pedestrian at Sweetwater and Troy
SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (July 16, 2018) – A pedestrian was critically injured Sunday night when he was struck by a ride-sharing vehicle, according to San Diego News 10.
The crash took place about 10 p.m. near Sweetwater Road and Troy Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Witnesses reported the man ran into the street in front of the vehicle, but the facts remain under investigation by police.
Paramedics rushed the pedestrian to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of major injuries.

At this time, the cause of the collision is under investigation so we do not know who is responsible.
