Driver Hospitalized, Bus Slams Into Tree on Cristobal Drive Friday
Spring Valley, CA (December 5, 2021) – One person suffered injuries following a bus accident that occurred on Cristobal Drive Friday afternoon.
According to ABC10 News, a child care bus veered off the roadway while traveling in the streets of Spring Valley. The bus left the traffic lanes and reportedly hit a Tacoma truck parked nearby. Officials said the bus continued driving and eventually slammed into a tree in the 9000 block of Cristobal Drive.

First responders found two children aboard the bus. Paramedics immediately checked the conditions of the juveniles, and later confirmed both children appeared unharmed.
Meanwhile, the driver reportedly passed out before the collision happened. An ambulance rushed the patient to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
Investigators continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the traffic accident on Cristobal Drive in Spring Valley.
