1 Injured in Accident Near Highway 180
SQUAW VALLEY, Fresno County (August 11, 2017) – One was hospitalized after a traffic collision Friday morning on Highway 63, also known as South Hills Valley Road, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident took place shortly after 8:30 a.m., just south of Highway 180.
As per the report log, a gold GMC Yukon and a red Toyota Yaris collided on northbound Highway 63. Fire department officials along with the paramedics responded to the scene and attended to a party involved who suffered apparent minor injuries following the crash.

The victim was then transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for further treatment. The name of the patient was not released.
Meanwhile, CHP added that the GMC sustained front-end damage as a result of the wreck. The roadway was cleared as of 9:40 a.m.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
In this case, the cause of the collision is still undetermined and several factors are being considered and analyzed.
