1 Injured in Squaw Valley Crash at South Avenue and Illinois Avenue
TEHAMA COUNTY, CA (April 21, 2021) – A car crash injured at least one person at South Avenue and Illinois Avenue in the Squaw Valley community.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the accident last week on Thursday morning. Officers reported the wreck on April 15 at about 9:50 a.m.
According to their report log, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of South Avenue and Illinois Avenue in Squaw Valley.
Car Collision Near Woodson Bridge Minimart
CHP said one of the cars, a 4-door sedan, obtained major front-end damage upon impact. Airbags deployed in a silver vehicle involved.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene near the Woodson Bridge Minimart. They found one individual who ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then provided treatment to the patient for the minor injuries they sustained in the wreck. The name of the wounded party and their condition at this time were not released.
Meanwhile, officers forced the road to close following the collision. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the Squaw Valley crash.
