2 Hospitalized After Car Crashes into Big Rig Truck
ST. HELENA, Calif. (Nov. 15, 2017) — Two people were hospitalized Wednesday morning after a collision between a semi-tractor trailer truck and a sedan on Highway 29 at Deer Park Road, the California Highway Patrol reports.
Police believe the car crossed over the double yellow lines and crashed head-on into the wine tanker truck. The yellow big rig truck went off the road on the southbound side, the CHP report said. The white sedan was blocking the northbound lane.
One person was transported by ambulance to St. Helena Medical Center and the other was taken to a separate hospital or medical facility.
The cause of the crash and liability remains under investigation by police.
