ST. HELENA (July 11, 2016)- According to the Napa Valley Register, a deadly collision occurred between a motorcyclist and a sedan.
The collision took place Sunday at 12:22 p.m. on Chiles Pope Valley Road near Barnett Road.
In an article by The Press Democrat, California Highway Patrol said 28-year-old Karl Burgstahler, of Calistoga, was riding his 2007 Honda sport bike on Chiles Pope Valley Road when at the same time a 2015 Cadillac sedan was about to make a left turn onto Barnett Road.
Burgstahler and the sedan then collided. He died at the scene.
Meanwhile, CHP added that the driver of the Cadillac, 75-year-old Lakeport resident Marlene Ivicecich, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
CHP Napa division will be handling the investigation.
