Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in St. Helena Crash on Eastbound Highway 128
ST. HELENA, CA (April 17, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash along Highway 128 in St. Helena.
The California Highway Patrol first logged the incident on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the accident on April 18 at around 3:52 p.m.
CHP said a white Chevrolet 1500 and the rider of a white Honda CBR 1000RR motorcycle collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed on eastbound Highway 128 at mile marker 1704 in St Helena.
According to their report, the pickup truck sustained a broken rear axle upon impact. The motorcycle ended up with major rollover damage following the incident.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene. They soon found the motorcyclist suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the Chevrolet sustained any wound or if they stopped after the wreck.
Officers forced both lanes of the Highway 128, known as Sage Canyon Road, to close following the collision. Authorities are still determining the cause of the St. Helena crash.
