ST HELENA, California (March 28, 2016) — A fatal rollover crash took place Monday afternoon at or near the intersection of Deer Park and Sunnyside roads, a California Highway Patrol report said.
Per the Napa Valley Register, the driver of a 2004 Ford Expedition, Isaac Hwang, 21, occupied by six additional Pacific Union College students was heading east along Deer Park Road before he lost control and crased upon approaching a road curvature at roughly 1:52 p.m.
The article disclosed that a 20-year-old woman identified as Fen Pan sadly sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hwang and five others inside the vehicle each suffered injuries ranging from minor to very serious.
Per the Napa Valley Register, three of the victims were taken to Queen of the Valley, two were rushed to Santa Rosa Memorial, and one was transported to St. Helena Hospital.
Police are investigating what led to the crash and will report on their findings.
