 Stanford Bicycle Accident Mayfield Avenue, Near Campus Drive Bicyclist Hit by Vehicle at Stanford University

STANFORD, Calif. (April 13, 2022) —  A Stanford bicycle accident happened on Mayfield Avenue, in front of the Mars residence near Campus Drive on the Stanford University campus.

The collision happened about 9:58 a.m. on April 13th at 436 Mayfield Avenue, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.

It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the bike rider and motorist at this time. The crash happened near a stop sign at a turn in the roadway where there is a marked crosswalk.

The university called for the fire department to respond and help the cyclist.

It appears that paramedics transported the injured rider to a hospital for further treatment. Someone locked up the bicycle at a nearby bike rack.

The crash remains under investigation to determine fault for the Stanford bicycle accident on Mayfield Avenue.
