Cyclist Injured in Collision on Escondido Road

Stanford, CA (March 10, 2023) – At least one person suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on Escondido Road, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch.

Vehicle Hits Bicyclist in Stanford

Earlier reports indicated a man riding a bike was struck by a car near the 673 block of Escondido Road in Stanford. Officials briefly described the vehicle involved in the wreck as a gray Toyota Camry.

CHP logged the case on March 1, Wednesday.

Shortly after 10:16 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. Responding paramedics immediately rendered aid to the cyclist found suffering in injuries. Authorities identified the injured party as a 22-year-old female. Pending confirmation, the name of the victim remained undisclosed.

No immediate information was available on the condition of the Camry driver. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the traffic accident that happened on Escondido Road in Stanford.
