1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Stanislaus County Crash at Crows Landing and Monte Vista
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (June 19, 2021) – A crash killed at least one person at Crows Landing Road and Monte Vista Road in Stanislaus County.
The California Highway Patrol received a call about the tragic accident on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at around 8:34 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided head-on for an unknown reason in Stanislaus County. They crashed at the intersection of Crows Landing and Monte Vista roads.
2 Cars Collide Head-On
The incident log described the cars involved as a white Range Rover and a gray Honda Civic. Both obtained major front-end damage upon impact.
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene near the cities of Turlock and Ceres. They confirmed that one person died as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel also took another party to a hospital for treatment of major injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded individuals have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Crows Landing and Monte Vista to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Stanislaus County crash is still under investigation.
