2 Killed, 2 Injured in Crash at Patterson and Bentley Roads Near Oakdale
STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA (March 12, 2022) – A crash killed two people and two others were injured at Patterson and Bentley roads near Oakdale.
According to an article published by The Modesto Bee, the tragic accident took place on Saturday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:25 p.m.
The incident began when a car was going north on Bently Road, approaching Patterson Road, in Stanislaus County. At the same time, two other vehicles were traveling east and west on Patterson.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
For an unknown reason, the three then collided. The California Highway Patrol said they crashed between Riverbank and Oakdale.
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene and extricated at least one trapped occupant from the wreckage. They confirmed that two individuals died as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took the other two parties to a hospital for treatment of significant injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, CHP forced the area of Patterson and Bentley roads to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal crash near Oakdale is still under investigation.
